North Somerset Environment Company (NSEC) Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance within its commercial maintenance team, learning alongside those responsible for the safe and effective maintenance of our high profile, front-line fleet. The role is based at our Weston-super-Mare workshop facility.
You will learn all aspects of inspecting, servicing, repairing and maintaining a range of vehicles in the NSEC fleet and ancillary plant and equipment to support efficient operations and achievement of the appropriate qualification.
On- the- job training will be given, and you will enrol on the appropriate level of study in commercial vehicle maintenance with our training provider. Travel assistance can be provided to support day release studies.
NSEC, in partnership with North Somerset Council, is responsible for collecting recycling and waste from over 90,000 homes and commercial businesses across North Somerset, along with managing Household Waste Recycling Centres at Backwell, Portishead and Weston. We have a fleet of over 100 vehicles and various plants & machinery. You will gain experience working on all types in the fleet.
