Trainee CAD Operator /Apprentice CAD Operator £23,000-£25,000 + Benefits Central London A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a leading mechanical engineering business to join their CAD division and to be part of your personal growth and development into a career as a CAD Operator. Our client is a national and award-winning business with a superb reputation in their industry. And are looking for fresh talent to be part of their team. You will be joining the business to work within the computer-aided Design (CAD) Team to prepare building services drawings for engineering and site operative use as well as to be able to work with engineering marked up drawings and produce revised drawings in 2D and 3D formats Duties: – To train under the guidance of an experienced CAD operator and attend a day release college course To develop a skillset in the use of CAD Programmes To support the CAD & Engineering Team. Attend offered training to gain experience and grow in ability Preparation of layout drawings correctly and accurately Working to engineers requirements Office duties to assist in the smooth running of the department Working within project deadlines Skills: – A min of 5 GCSE A grade B or equivalent in Maths IT Literacy Strong communication skills Ability to problem solve Adaptable Focused Don t miss out on this great opportunity!
