We have some fantastic opportunities for you to develop and grow your skills and experiences, starting a career in leisure at Ross on Wye Swimming Pool. These roles are at the heart of the operation of our centres, ensuring we deliver excellent services to our customers each and every day.
These roles are perfect as both apprenticeship or second career opportunities.
When working at a swimming pool, the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification will be needed (or the willingness and ability to work with us to qualify, full training programmes would be provided).

Duties and responsibilities
Lifeguarding, cleaning and first aid tasks
Run safe and clean facilities, taking care of the resources which are needed to deliver the services on offer
Pitch in as needed to help your centre, your manager, your colleagues
Promote our values and expectations
Plan your tasks, deliver great service standards
Support your colleagues
Commit to your own development
Take part in company training programmes
Provide feedback so we can continuously improve

Achieved or to be working towards National Pool Lifeguard qualification
Dealing directly with customers
To be able to maintain high levels of concentration in a humid environment
To have a flexible approach to work unsociable hours including weekends and Bank Holidays.
Good communication skills.

Leisure Team Member Apprenticeship Level 2
Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English
