Brief overview of the vacancy role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Customer Service Admin Assistant Apprentice to join our Adult North Admin Hub working with the Main Reception Team at the Cavell Centre for the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

Vacancy Description

As an apprentices with the NHS, you will be working in the Cavell Centre, Edith Cavell Healthcare Campus, Bretton Gate, Bretton, Peterborough, PE3 9GZ in the Main Reception area which is part of the Adult North Admin Hub for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

– Providing excellent reception services, photocopying, typing, scanning and uploading, franking post.

– Accurately input and retrieve data on relevant electronic systems, in a timely manner in line with standard operating procedures.

– Ensure good customer service by providing a professional and effective service by dealing with queries from service users, carers or staff in person or on the telephone, convey messages and transfer calls as necessary while maintaining confidentiality at all times.

You will also be undertaking a range of clerical duties including, delivering high quality reception services, providing excellent customer care to all visitors to the Cavell Centre, answering telephone calls, photocopying, accurately inputting and retrieving data on relevant electronic systems, conveying messages, booking rooms and typing letters and reports.

Our clinical teams deliver many NHS services not only via inpatient and primary care settings but also within the community. These services include Children, Adult and Older Peoples Mental Health, Forensic and Specialist Mental Health, Learning Disability, Primary Care and Liaison Psychiatry, Substance Misuse. Social care, Research and Development.

At the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, you will be working towards the NHS Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship over the course of 15 months.
