Brief overview of the vacancy role

The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Adopting Innovation Hub is looking for an Apprentice Administrator. We are looking for a confident individual with excellent organisational skills, excellent people and listening skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Vacancy Description

In June 2021, we were delighted to be awarded a grant by the Health Foundation Adopting Innovation programme. Selected as one of four national innovation hubs, we will work across the system to support staff to overcome the challenges of spreading innovation by focussing upon adapting innovations to their unique local context.

– To work closely with the Adopting Innovation Hub team to provide administration support and co-ordination.

– Manage and regularly update the hubs social media platforms such as Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn, posting hub activities, news, and educational resources.

– Manage the hubs online website and digital education platform (CitizenLab), updating content, information, and advertising events.

– Create and produce marketing materials for the hub such as flyers, posters, and online adverts

– Arrange and attend meetings, including booking venues and hospitality if appropriate. To prepare and produce an agenda, collate and distribute all necessary information and documentation, take minutes and action notes as required. Ensure all minutes are issued in a timely manner and ensure agreed actions are appropriately recorded.

– To be responsible for dealing with enquiries and other communications with a high degree of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.

– Maintain annual leave records for the team.

– Maintain and develop administrative systems to manage administration of training and learning and development programmes and events accessed through the Hub’s Culture Club.

– Maintain a diary, organise workload and prioritise tasks appropriately.

– Work on own initiative and work independently when necessary.

– Undertake ad hoc project work as required, researching and producing information to support the project.

– Attend and contribute to regular team meetings, away days and team development.

– Attend and support coordination of virtual and face-to-face workshops

The role will provide exposure to online, website and social media platform management.
