what you’ll do :

– during your shifts, you’ll create a positive kitchen environment where your team feel welcomed + cared for

– you’ll help spot, nurture + develop talent within the back of house team

– you’ll hold brilliant team briefs + shift handovers

– share your passion + knowledge of wagamama food, ingredients + cooking techniques

– you’ll manage the line effectively, so every dish served is of high quality + served to spec

– you’ll ensure the back of house team is fully trained on all dishes

– you’ll deal with guest feedback on shift + make improvements for future shifts

– you’ll understand the importance of growing sales + protecting profit + actively support this

– you’ll support your head chef to effectively control gp

– you’ll make sure you follow food safety + health + safety standards throughout your shift

– you’ll solve any minor maintenance issues on shift, escalating when needed

Training to be provided

senior production chef level 3 apprenticeship standard
