During your time at Wolseley as an Apprentice Project Tracker you will be pro-actively sourcing and qualifying new and future projects to generate incremental leads and to provide a pipeline of work for Wolseley Pipe and Climate.

Closely working with our recognised key strategic suppliers to build important relationships as well as managing, co-ordinating and distributing project information via the use of Wolseley’s CRM and system Salesforce

Vacancy Description

At Wolseley as an Apprentice Project Tracker, you will be working towards the Business Admin Level 3 apprenticeship alongside your daily roles and responsibilities.

Your daily roles and responsibilities will include;

– To recognise potential opportunity for Wolseley Pipe and Climate.

– Qualify leads through building relationships with key stakeholders and by customer telephone calls.

– Work alongside the Estimating division to highlight further pricing opportunities.

– To consult with Wolseley Sales Teams to ensure all projects are captured nationally.

– To manage and update projects within SalesForce to ensure an accurate pipeline of work.

– To regularly discuss and present the top projects to internal stakeholders.

– To build relationships with supplier’s and work in collaboration to enable us to share important information on upcoming projects.

Future Prospects

This is a very good introductory role into the construction industry as no previous experience is required and Wolseley will teach all the skills required on the job.

This role sets you up for great career progression opportunities within Wolseley. Our most recent Project Tracker has been promoted to Key Account Manager after four years of service – but there are many other routes you can take – such as; estimating, internal accounts and enquiry support.
