Responsibilities

The main purpose of this role is to support the delivery, implementation and monitoring of marketing plans that aim to attract new students into training opportunities with us to become future finance professionals.

The role is highly audience-focused, which requires creativity, communication and project management skills. It is also varied and challenging, where you will work with colleagues across ICAEW to support our corporate and team strategy.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • gain experience of working in a varied marketing role, which includes developing social media campaigns, managing new and existing online content, reviewing communication channels, generating success stories and implementing your ideas based on research and insight;
  • undertake project work that relates to our strategy and team objectives;
  • work collaboratively with teams across the organisation;
  • develop a knowledge of business, IT and internal systems.

This apprenticeship role is based in Milton Keynes with occasional travel to our headquarters in Moorgate, London.

Requirements

We’re not expecting you to be the finished article; that’s what the apprenticeship is for. However we do expect you to have an interest in marketing and be able to talk about your favourite adverts and social media and what impact they’ve had on you. You will be organised, and comfortable coordinating a number of tasks and projects in a methodical manner. We’re a team which works well together so someone who likes to share ideas and bounce off others would really help as is some creative writing skills and the ability to proof-read.
