Our client is now looking for an IT Apprentice to join their busy team in Telford!

The IT Apprentice will have a range of duties in their own area assisted by the IT and Business managers. They are expected to work with supervision. The IT Apprentice will be involved in resolving routine IT issues or contributing to new programmes and projects.

Apprentices understand the importance of managing both professional and learning responsibilities.  SWA had a calm relaxed professional working environment.  You will be expected to support the IT manager with daily IT issues and help develop new systems and opportunities.

IT Apprentice Duties:

  • Support User base of 50 + SWA Employees via telephone, e-mails or onsite
  • Office 365 console administration.
  • Problem solving
  • Set up and configuration of SWA Desktops and Laptops. Ensuring users can get emails on the device, can use the Office apps.
  • Onsite cabling and network connectivity. Onsite WiFi administration.
  • Active Directory administration: create new user accounts, amend permissions, and reset network and applications passwords.
  • Perform various stock check requests as advised by IT Manager’s requests.
  • Meet and greet their user base. Perform scheduled appointments and tasks
  • Support for all IT peripheral equipment e.g. Projectors, Printers, Meeting room equipment etc
  • The Apprentice will carry out their duties and any ad hoc requests that come from the IT or Business Manager, with accuracy and professionalism.
  • SharePoint Administration.

IT Apprentice Requirements:

  • IT equipment, Windows 10, and Office 365 Experience desirable.
