To work under the supervision of qualified Occupational Therapists undertaking group and individual interventions with clients suffering from a range of mental health problems.
Vacancy Description
At East London NHS – Mile End Hospital – Barts Health you will be working towards a Senior Healthcare Support Worker L3 Apprenticeship standard over the course of 18 months.
You will be working under the supervision of qualified Occupational Therapists undertaking group and individual interventions with clients suffering from a range of mental health problems.
Whilst working under the supervision of trained Occupational Therapists you will be undertaking a range of individual and group based interventions including creative, daily living / self- care skills, physical exercise, leisure based and community integration.
This will include:
– OT department and community based.
– To participate in OT department meetings and training sessions, as well as regular supervision sessions.
– To work with other members of the MDT including Nurses, Doctors and Psychologists.
