To complete the Associate Practitioner Apprenticeship in mammography
To work towards being able to carry out routine mammography examinations of a very high standard that are adequate for radiological interpretation in 97% of cases.
To provide an excellent standard of care to women at all times.
To perform regular Quality Assurance tests on the X-ray equipment and ensure that the results are accurately logged; to inform the Senior Radiographer or Quality Assurance Radiographer immediately of any results that are outside agreed parameters.
To assist radiographers and radiologists in all areas of the breast service as required.
To work within the Radiographic Healthcare Assistants team as required.
