Working on world class Carrier HVAC equipment and being guided and instructed by qualified Trade personnel, you will learn:

  • Diagnostics
  • Repairs
  • Maintenance
  • Assembly
  • Administration
  • Attendance to TAFE and satisfactory completion of all assessments on time.
  • Support Field Service Technicians with site HVAC works
  • Action reasonable instructions from the service coordinator, account managers, warranty manager and Branch/Service Manager.
  • Required to attend safety toolbox talks and participate in company WHSE programs to ensure safety compliance and workplace standards
  • Ensure timesheets and service reports are accurate, timely and detailed to support charges to the client
  • Ensure checklists for jobs are completed, personal protective equipment is used in accordance with procedures, and monthly rotating audits of same including vehicle inspections are conducted
  • Liaise with Service Group Administrators for all team member administration requirements
  • Give feedback to Service Group Managers on team member’s work practices, product knowledge and apprentice training effectiveness
  • Participate in training programs
  • Protect and maintain all Company equipment issued
  • Work using effective communication
  • Work in a team environment
  • Participate in and support all team building activities including training, promotions, and cross functional/departmental activities as required.
