About the role

You will be working in our Waste Water Operations team, who operate and maintain our waste water assets. This could range from pumping stations, sections of our sewerage network or large treatment works. In addition to this, you will be a friendly and knowledgeable contact for customers, liaising with them to ensure excellent service delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Undertaking all work with due care and consideration for health and safety
  • Performing routine and non-routine tasks in accordance with operational requirements
  • Responding to any customer queries in a positive and informative manner
  • Ensuring quality is maintained within company standards
  • Ensuring all activities are carried out to protect the environment
  • What we’d like from you:

  • Ideally, 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9-4, including Maths & English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time-management and organizational skills
  • An interest in problem-solving
  • A full UK driving license – but if you do not have one, we can support you financially in achieving this
