We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive person, ready to develop their maintenance and repair skills to join our dedicated team. Jobs include site maintenance, general repair and upkeep of the school premises.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be willing to undertake an apprenticeship course
  • Be proactive and enthusiastic
  • Support the premises manager
  • Have their own mode of transport to travel between the two school sites

    Wood Street Infant School and Worplesdon Primary School federated in 2, forming a strong bond between the two schools. Wood Street Infant School is a small school of children set in a semi-rural part of Guildford. Worplesdon Primary School is a large school of children set in the heart of Fairlands. Both schools are jointly led by a strong and supportive Leadership Team and Board of Governors.

    Pattern of work:

    We are looking to appoint someone for up to hours per week, term time only. However, the hours are negotiable and can be part time. We can also offer holiday work by mutual agreement.

    The successful candidate will undergo an enhanced DBS check.
