Apprentice Engineering Operative
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £8 – £10 per hour (£16k – £20k per annum)
You will be working towards gaining a recognised Level 2 Engineering Operative qualification through your Apprenticeship, as well as receiving on the job training.
About the role Your main role will be carrying out preventive maintenance, repairs and servicing on their generator fleet and attending to servicing.
Your day to day role will include preparing generators for hire and fulfilling customer orders.
Your typical working hours will be Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining high standards of rental equipment
- Carrying out repairs, fault findings and cleaning of equipment
- Picking of equipment and testing to fulfil customer orders
- Stock checking
- Checking in stock and fuel levels after hire
This on top of fabrication of equipment and maintaining a level of cleanliness within the workspace
