What the course covers

As an Architect, you will play a key role in designing and creating the environment in which we live in, shaping cities and communities, as you deliver the visions of your clients. Choosing the architect degree apprenticeship will provide you with practical experience in the field and academic training to be able to build a successful career as a qualified Chartered Architect.

You will take the lead on the planning process, as you liaise with your client to create an appropriate design with a team of architectural technicians, before facilitating the construction arrangements with the relevant authorities. You will use your creative thinking and problem-solving skills to offer advice and guidance related to a variety of building projects, such as structural integrity, design quality and value for money.

The apprenticeship will develop your understanding of a range of architectural processes and techniques, enabling you to produce detailed drawings and 3D models using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
