What the course covers
The Cabin Crew apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and experience to provide high-quality customer service to the passengers of a flight, whilst ensuring health and safety procedures are followed by all to protect everyone on board.
The apprenticeship is split into two parts:
- Part A – Flight Operations
The first part of the apprenticeship will see you develop your knowledge of flight operations, and learn about pre-flight procedures, ensuring it departs on time by helping passengers onboard safely and efficiently.
It will also equip you with the skills to be able to communicate effectively in-flight, making announcements over the aircraft’s tannoy system and selling a range of products during the flight.
You will also learn how to disembark passengers, how to communicate with ground staff and perform post-flight checks.
- Part B – Organisation and Commercial
The second part is focused on working as a team to ensure the health and safety of all passengers. You will learn about compliance and legislation requirements within the aviation industry, and how to monitor the safety and wellbeing of everyone on board.
It will teach you how to interact with customers on an individual basis, and how to apply the principles of CRM (crew resource management)
