What the course covers

Daily work will include interacting with service users, including those who may experience mental health issues, physical or mental disabilities or social barriers such as substance misuse, poor language skills or lone parenting. You will work as part of a team of employability practitioners and may need to communicate with wider community and support organisations the service user could have access to.

An employability practitioner will be responsible for managing their own caseload, and at times may assist with other colleagues’ work.
