Overview

The financial services administrator was approved for delivery on 12/11/2014. This Advanced apprenticeship standard awards you with a level 3, qualification when completed. The usual duration of this apprenticeship is 12 months, but this does not include the End-Point Assessment Period.

What the course covers

Finance firms require administrative support to provide an efficient, high quality and compliant service to their clients. As a Financial Services Administrator, your role with involve providing high-quality customer service. Typical duties include:

 

  • Providing general office administrative support such as filing, scanning, photocopying, banking, processing payments and answering the telephone
  • Maintain customer records, support the account handling team in delivering a full customer service proposition in a professional, timely and efficient manner
  • Communicate all information necessary to ensure customers are fully aware that their needs have been met and contract certainty achieved
  • Ensuring that formal complaints are referred immediately to the Managing director
  • Manage new and existing claims, liaising with the claims department.

Completion of this apprenticeship standard will provide the foundation knowledge, skills and experience for progression into several career paths including Senior administrator, Paraplanner, Financial adviser or Mortgage adviser.
