What the course covers

Advertising is a global creative industry which aims to create a relationship between customers and the brand to promote the sales of a product. This apprenticeship is a role found in advertising agencies who need fresh creativity to spark new ideas for advertising campaigns. In this apprenticeship, you will start from scratch, coming up with the most innovative and unique ideas for advertising a product or service, right from conception. Junior advertising creatives aim to come up with original concepts and strategies to stand out in crowded markets.

In this role, you will work on advertising campaigns which tend to have few different adverts running over a period to promote a single thing. You will learn how to understand the diverse client markets to create tailored advertising which will speak to a target audience. Once you have come up with an idea, Junior advertising creatives, along with Senior advertising creatives, will work with designers, illustrators, directors and photographers to bring the concept to life.

While this is a creative role, it is also essential that apprentices have good budgeting, time management and organisation skills, as well as an ability to follow a brief and take on board constructive criticism.
