Overview

The marketing executive was approved for delivery on 24/09/2018. This Higher apprenticeship standard awards you with a level 4, qualification when completed. The usual duration of this apprenticeship is 15 months, but this does not include the End-Point Assessment Period.

What the course covers

A marketing executive works within a large marketing team, either for a specific marketing agency or as part of an in-house marketing team within a business. Marketing is necessary and valuable across a whole range of industries, within the public and private sectors. It promotes the sales of a product or the promotion of a message via the establishment of brand awareness.

A marketing executive helps to support, shape and execute marketing plans alongside the marketing manager, in conjunction with a specific marketing strategy. As an apprentice within this role, you will have some key responsibilities including managing marketing channels such as digital and social media, planning integrated marketing campaigns, managing the distribution of marketing materials, liaising with various stakeholders, collecting and analysing research and organising and attending marketing events.

Throughout this apprenticeship, you will develop a strong working knowledge of marketing concepts and theories, and you will be able to apply these to your daily workload accurately. This knowledge includes information on the fundamentals of marketing and ideas related to brand positioning and reputation.
