Business Admin Apprentice

Haines Watts are looking for a passionate and highly enthusiastic Business Admin Apprentice to join their office in Berkhamsted.

As part of the Haines Watts Berkhamsted & Aylesbury team, you will be supported to provide high quality administrative support services to the team!

Your duties will be:

  • Liaising with Client Engagement Manager to bring in client workflows in a timely and effective manner.
  • Preparing, distributing and updating reports for the wider team to ensure that workflows and deadlines are met.
  • Ensuring that the firm’s standard processes are used in all aspects of work and that high standards are maintained when dealing with queries from clients.
  • Answering calls from clients and ensuring these queries are dealt with or passed to an appropriate member of the team.
  • Covering reception during the Receptionists lunch hour to include assisting with the meeting and greeting of clients when required.
  • Database maintenance to assist managers with client progress on jobs and planning as well ensuring that GDPR is adhered to.
  • Ad hoc tasks such as booking meeting/travel, assisting with facility management and email management.
  • You will be expected to contact clients in connection with non-technical issues such as the collection of debtors and be involved on an ongoing basis in administrative activities such as billing.
  • To professionally represent the firm and its interests in dealings with clients and other professionals at all times.

  • Qualifications:

    At least 5 GCSE’s graded A*-C/9-4 which includes English and maths or equivalent.
