Depending on the level of the apprenticeship, this study may go all the way up to degree level. The other part, the on the job training will usually start out with quite simple tasks.
It is likely that a lot of what you do for the first while will be greeting clients when they arrive and making them comfortable ahead of their treatment. You will also be expected to answer the phone and manage any online bookings through the website or social media accounts. You will likely have to manage calendar software to ensure that appointments aren’t double booked.
You will also learn the specifics of what your business does and how to give the manicures, pedicures, make-up applications etc that the clients are looking for. You will slowly be allowed to do more as your skills in these areas develop and you broaden your knowledge in the study part of the apprenticeship.
