With a vision to change lives and improve the educational outcomes for communities in the North of England, Delta Academies Trust are further growing their existing team through the addition of an IT Support Apprentice.
Located in the easily accessible Knottingley, you will join the team in their modern offices to develop your skills and knowledge across a range of exciting technical tasks and projects.
Roles & Responsibilities (will include but not be limited to):
Providing server and network support to teachers and students.
Providing desktop and application support to teachers and students.
Configuring, installing and offering support on various IT-based equipment.
Updating and maintaining security on computers.
General maintenance and troubleshooting.
Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by Baltic Apprenticeships and Delta Academies Trust.
Desired qualities, skills & knowledge:
Good communication skills
A methodical and logical troubleshooting mindset
An understanding of IT & Technology
Experience or knowledge of computer hardware & software
Passionate about IT and Technology
A positive “can do” attitude
Career focused and self-motivated
A commitment to learning new skills
GCSE’s: A*-C in Math’s & English (or an equivalent qualification)
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
£9,620 per annum
Mileage Allowance £0.45p per mile.
37 hours per week
Monday – Thursday, 8am to 4pm, Friday, 8am to 3.30pm
23 days holiday plus bank holidays
